Burna Boy, a well-known musician from Nigeria, has admitted that his famous song Last Last has brought in the most royalties of any song he has ever released.
The award-winning artist said this during a conversation on Shopping For Sneakers when he clarified the issue of American vocalist Toni Braxton receiving a substantial portion of the track’s earnings.
Burna Boy included a sample of Braxton’s “He Wasn’t Man Enough,” which he said played a significant role in his upbringing.
He claimed that when he mentioned that she takes 60% of any revenue from Last Last, people misinterpreted what he meant.
The songwriter of “On The Low” went on to say that the singer only receives 60% of the song’s royalties.
