I have a message for Ghana


Nigerian Grammy-winner, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, has addressed the insulting remarks by Ghanaian singer, Shatta Wale targeted at Nigerians, especially the artistes.

On Sunday, Shatta made lambasted Nigerian artistes and entertainers after selling out a stadium in Ghana.

“They said I won’t be able to fill my own stadiums, I don’t need any Nigerian artiste to sell out Ghana’s stadium, f**k Nigerian artistes,” the rapper had said.

Also, the Ghanaian artiste had on Monday taken to his Twitter page to blast Nigerians, telling them to be grateful to Ghana for supporting Nigerian artistes’.

In light of Shatta’s rant, Ghanaians had also vowed to boycott shows headlined by Nigerian musicians in Ghana.

However, reacting on Tuesday during his concert, Wizkid said that no matter our skin colour, or country, Africa is one.

He said that he would show everyone the same amount of love whether they are from Ghana, Nigeria or Kenya.
