Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini ”Burna Boy” Ogulu has weighed in on the news of the tragic death of Sylvester Oromoni, a student of Dowen College, Lagos.
Days ago, a man named Perrie reported the unfortunate demise of his 12-year-old cousin, Sylvester, who was reportedly tortured by students because he refused to join a cult.
Taking to his Instagram story to react, Burna noted that no child should die in school, adding that the circumstances surrounding Sylvester’s death was a more troublesome way to die.
He wrote; ”No child should ever die in school, especially not this way”

Meanwhile, the Lagos state government has ordered that the school be shut down indefinitely pending when investigation into the matter is conclusive.
