Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel, two Nollywood celebrities who were kidnapped, have set a ransom demand of $100,000.
Emeka Rollas, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), announced this in a statement on July 30.
You may remember that the two actors traveled to Ozalla Town in Enugu state for a movie shoot on Friday and were reported missing.
According to Rollas, it is a confirmed case of kidnapping and the abductors have reached out for negotiations.
He said they are demanding $100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Dollars) in ransom.
“It’s a confirmed kidnap case. They have made contact and demanded for 100k dollars,” he said.
Also, the AGN president disclosed that all the money in Mrs Okereke’s account was cleared Friday, July 29.
