Actress Kate Henshaw has resisted being intimidated by Rasheedat Adu, the head of the Eti-Osa local government, at her polling unit.
The politician came to incite the local government against the actress, the actress claimed in a video posted on Twitter, and gave orders to her thugs in Yoruba waiting outside.
According to Henshaw, people were chanting slogans, and one of Adu’s men said he would slap her while another pointed at her from a distance.
She continued by saying that the politician undoubtedly sought to frighten her because she had been reprimanded during the presidential race.
The actress wrote: “No one can intimidate me!! I have every right to carry out my duty No amount of abuse or vitriol will work. You are a public servant!! I have taken note of all your thugs!!”
